About Jorge
I have 10 years teaching and private tutoring Spanish. I am a native speaker born and raised in South America. I have taught Spanish in all levels, in Public Schools, professionals and senior citizens. I am also a professor of Political Science at University and an attorney, but I always have time to share my cultural and my language proficiency with my students.

I follow the natural process of learning a language. First we understand, then we start to speak, then we write and at the end we try to understand grammar. Depending on the level I am teaching , I try to follow this guide. Students have to be familiar with the pronunciation of the word. For this, listening to music in Spanish for example is very useful. It is also important to expose the students to the culture, because we don't want just translator machines, we want students that understand the culture along with the language.
