About Mariam
I am an immunology and infection masters student at UCL. I have an undergraduate degree in biomedicine. I give tutoring lessons on biology. I have knowledge and understanding of bacteria,viruses and the human physiology and the immune system of humans. My current experince is currently mentoring an A-level student with her final year of A-levels. I helped with her with improving her exam techniques and aiding her with writing a UCAS personal statement.

My teaching method is first to see what material the student is able to understand and do. Then with the material. Then I help the student with finding a technique to do the material the cant do. This could be for example, with biology if the student doesn't understand the cellular respiration system, I would help my making cue cards to help the student memorize the important part of the cellular respiration system and making a short summery of each part of the cycle. I base my classes on what material the student struggles with the most then working from their to find a technique they feel the most comfortable with.
