About Amy
My teachers at school were terrible. They created PowerPoints and read straight off them, having mindlessly copied from a textbook, providing no real teaching and explanation. It was for this reason I really didn't enjoy science at secondary school. After I was taught properly at A-level, I began to love science; once you understand, the ball starts rolling. Feeling lost can make you hate learning and if I can help you feel confident in class, hopefully you can start to feel the same passion I do. No matter how incapable you may feel, I truly believe anyone can learn and perform excellently if they are taught properly.

Having gained tutoring experience through working with CoachBright, I have developed great passion and enthusiasm for inspiring students. Friendly and communicative, I work to break down key concepts and build them back up for enhanced comprehension. Through full understanding, I hope that my students learn to love these subjects just as much as I do. I provide 1 hour tutor sessions for GCSE and A-level Biology, Mathematics and Chemistry. After having attained A*A*A at A-level, I now study Biochemistry at an undergraduate level at Imperial College London.
