About Joshua
I am a Mathematics and Statistics student at Imperial College London with a strong academic background and a real enthusiasm for teaching. Having recently gone through the process of GCSEs and A Levels myself, I understand the challenges students face and how to overcome them. I am patient, reliable, and committed to making lessons clear and enjoyable while keeping a strong focus on exam success. My aim is to help students not only improve their grades but also feel more confident and capable in their own abilities.

I design my lessons to be engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student. I focus on making difficult concepts clear by breaking them down into manageable steps, then guiding students through examples and exam-style questions to build both understanding and confidence. A typical lesson lasts around an hour and includes a quick recap, focused teaching on the chosen topic, interactive problem-solving, and a short summary to consolidate learning. I often set optional practice questions between sessions so that progress continues outside of lessons. As a Mathematics and Statistics student at Imperial College London, I bring strong subject knowledge as well as a friendly and approachable teaching style. I mainly work with GCSE, A Level students, and University entrance exams such as the MAT, TMUA and STEP, helping them prepare for exams, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and achieve their best possible results.
