About Marta
I am an MSc Machine Learning student at UCL. Furthermore, I recently became a Theoretical Physics Graduate (1st class honours) from Imperial College London. Throughout my academic experiences, I have developed strong mathematical and computing skills, which I continue to improve every day.
I started tutoring in high school while doing the IB (obtained a mark of 44/45). During that time, I decided to create a tutoring scheme within my school, where final-year students could help younger students seeking to prepare for the IB. The experience greatly deepened my knowledge. As an undergraduate, I also participated in similar schemes.
I believe tutoring to be a very enriching experience, and a great way to share the knowledge I have acquired throughout the past years.

My teaching is based on understanding the fundamentals and being able to apply them to a varied array of problems. I specialise in coming up with analogies and examples to understand abstract concepts from Maths and Physics. Usually, my approach for exam preparation is focusing on past paper questions that the student struggled with, reviewing the theory behind those, and at the end of the lesson writing a short summary of the key concepts.
The typical length of a lesson is 1h, but I am flexible. My lessons are in Maths and Physics up to A levels.
