About Saifali

Hi, I'm Saif! If you're struggling with A-level Maths or Computer Science, I can help. I'm a Computer Science student at Imperial College London, and I got A*s in both A-level Maths and Computer Science.

I tutor A-level and GCSE Maths and Computer Science (as well as the TMUA).

Alongside my degree, I'm a quant developer in the Optiver-sponsored market-making arm of Queen's Tower Exchange, Imperial's student trading simulation, where I use the maths and programming I teach to build trading strategies. I'm also interested in machine learning research and engineering :)

About the lesson

Most students who struggle aren't actually bad at these subjects. They've usually got a few missing ideas or misconceptions about the fundamentals, and nobody's ever properly taught them exam technique.

My lessons are built around past paper questions. We work through real exam questions across different topics, and whenever one shows up a gap, I stop and teach that concept properly. I'll usually set that topic as homework so it sticks. If a topic is particularly weak, I'll plan a whole lesson around it.

Lessons are for anyone sitting GCSE or A-level Maths or Computer Science.
