About Rory
With more than 12 years of experience as a Singing tutor, I have helped many students unlock their vocal potential and achieve success in music. I teach School students, College students, and Working Professionals who want to improve their singing skills, prepare for performances, or simply enjoy learning music.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and goal-oriented. I believe every learner progresses at a different pace, so I adapt my teaching methods to suit individual needs. By creating personalised lesson plans, I help students develop confidence while steadily improving their vocal abilities.
My classes focus on breath control, pitch accuracy, vocal strength, rhythm training, voice modulation, and performance preparation. I use practical demonstrations, guided exercises, and performance-based activities to ensure students gain hands-on experience. Regular progress reviews help learners stay motivated and focused.
Along with Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Coaching, and Song Interpretation. These subjects help students understand music more deeply and improve their overall performance skills. I encourage students to develop strong practice habits and a positive attitude towards learning.
One of my strengths is helping students overcome stage fear and perform with confidence. Through consistent support and constructive feedback, I help learners grow both technically and personally. My goal is to make every lesson inspiring, enjoyable, and rewarding.

My teaching methodology for Singing focuses on creating an interactive, engaging, and supportive learning environment. Through flexibility, creativity, understanding, and effective time management, I help students develop vocal skills while enjoying every step of their musical journey.
I begin by understanding the student's goals and learning preferences. This allows me to tailor lessons that match their needs and interests. Whether they are beginners or experienced singers, I ensure that learning remains both challenging and enjoyable.
Creativity is a major part of my lessons. I incorporate vocal games, song interpretation exercises, listening practice, and performance activities to keep students actively involved. These methods help improve learning while making classes fun and memorable.
Students learn essential vocal techniques such as breathing control, pitch accuracy, rhythm development, diction, vocal expression, and stage confidence. I focus on helping students apply these skills practically through songs and performances.
Understanding and patience create a positive atmosphere where students feel encouraged to learn and grow. I believe confidence develops when students feel supported and appreciated.
Time management helps keep lessons organised and productive. Every session includes a balance of technical practice, creative activities, and performance preparation.
Besides Singing, I can teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Care, Sight Singing, and Music Fundamentals. My aim is to help students become skilled and confident musicians.
