When it comes to private tutoring, my approach would be to tailor lessons to the individual needs of the student. This would involve assessing their level of proficiency in the language and identifying areas where they need improvement. I would also take into account their preferred learning style, goals, and interests to create a personalized lesson plan.
My methodology would be based on a communicative approach, where the focus is on using the language in real-life situations and developing fluency through conversation. I believe in creating a relaxed and supportive learning environment, where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions.
I am proficient in English and able to provide lessons in English. However, I can also provide language support in other languages, such as Zulu, Afrikaans, and Shona, among others.
During a typical lesson with me, students can expect a mix of speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities. These activities will be designed to build their confidence in the language and improve their overall proficiency. I may also provide feedback on grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary, as needed.
My lessons are aimed at students of all levels, from beginners to advanced learners. I am able to provide language support for students who are learning the language for academic or professional purposes, as well as for those who are learning for personal enrichment.
