- I helped a student throughout her Calculus 1 class, reinforcing her school class with additional materials and weekly sessions
-I helped a student accelerate his learning. Through weekly sessions, we were able to cover the entire Algebra 2/Trigonometry curriculum during the school year, and he will now be taking Pre-calculus as a freshman in high school.

As a recent high school graduate myself, I know it can be frustrating when a concept just doesn't make sense no matter how hard you try. That's why, as a tutor, I lead an interactive class where I explain topics to my student in many different ways and contexts so they can not only understand it, but also the principles behind it and how to apply it to real problems. I encourage asking questions and challenging my teaching -- that's what makes learning fun! I'm open to teaching any elementary, middle, or high schoolers, as well as any college students up to the level of Calc 2 (or AP Calculus BC). I'm also open to teaching students who would like to start learning and getting into competition math (AMC8/AMC10/AMC12).
