About Sarah
As of 2025, I am 18 years old. In my free time I enjoy painting, sketching, or anything creative! Bringing a smile to someone's face is my passion. While attending university, I will study elementary education and I additionally want to grow in my faith. During my high school years, I excelled in Math, English, and Science. At my first high school, I was placed in two honors Math classes due to my mathematical success in my Grade 9 year. In all of my educational years I was praised for my English skills, which therefore led to a university level English course in my last two years of high school. As a tutor, I will strive to lead my students to academic success. With the use of gentle approaches, I will find the best learning style for my student and guide them along that path in order for them to flourish.

I specialize in elementary studies. This includes but is not limited to Grades 1 through Grade 8. My main teachable subject for tutoring is Math/Arithmetic, but I am additionally available to teach Science or English as well. With my students, I will primarily ask to see their subject's curriculum. This will help me to properly prepare for our sessions. If this is not available, I will work through the foundations of the topic at hand. If they are struggling in a certain area, that will be addressed as soon as possible. Throughout our sessions, I will always make sure my student feels that they are in a safe environment. My youth poses as an advantage to tutoring. As a result of this, I have a more approachable demeanor for my students. Every parent with a younger aged child consistently comments on my ability to connect to their children. In the beginning lessons, I will try to observe my student's learning style through various approaches. I will then select the best learning approach for the student in order to bring them to their academic success.
