About Iwrsiya
Hi! I’m Iwrsiya, a Math and Computer Science student at UofT who recently finished high school with top honors in Math, Further Math, Physics, and Chemistry, plus a 1550 SAT. I am also the 1st Place Continental Champion in the Harvard Crimson Global Quiz Bowl (Mathematics).
I know how stressful STEM classes can be when you are just trying to memorize concepts without really understanding them. My goal is to make these subjects make sense and give you a clear, stress-free system to study effectively on your own.
Over the years, I tested and refined study systems that actually work, both for me and the students I coach. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I look at how each student learns best and build a plan around their specific needs.
I bring patience, clear step-by-step explanations, and a solid structure to every session. Whether you need to fix your basics, raise your grades, or get ready for big exams, we will work together at your pace to get you where you want to be.

I don't just teach the material, I build independent top performers. I give you the exact study systems to learn faster, ace exams, and master any subject on your own.
Methodology & Techniques
Review Old Errors First: We start every session re-trying past mistakes to confirm concepts stick.
Build Strong Foundations: We fix core algebraic gaps before tackling complex problems until steps feel automatic.
The Math Error Log: Every tough problem goes into a Study Tracker. We practice 3 or 4 similar variations to master patterns, not just single solutions.
Chemistry & Physics: Active Recall & Problem-Solving
No to Passive Reading: We turn class notes into active questions instead of re-reading or highlighting.
Yes to Active Recall: For homework, you test your memory using Anki flashcards or "blurting" definitions, equations, and mechanisms onto a blank page.
Shared Q&A Bank: All active recall questions live in a shared Google Doc as your custom exam study guide.
Physics Drills: We build rapid recall for formulas, units, and laws to save time on exams.
Chemistry Drills: We run rapid quizzes on organic chemistry nomenclature and repeatedly draw mechanisms until they become second nature.
LESSON PLANS BY SUBJECT
Mathematics (60 to 90 Mins)
Phase 1: Error Log Review (15 Mins): Rework 2 or 3 past mistakes from your Study Tracker.
Phase 2: Core Concept & Live Solving (30 to 40 Mins): I teach the topic, then you solve live problems while I guide your step-by-step logic.
Phase 3: Variation Practice (15 to 20 Mins): Drill tricky variations and log new edge cases into your tracker.
Chemistry (60 to 90 Mins)
Phase 1: Active Recall Check (30 Mins): Resolve tough Anki flashcards or questions flagged during homework.
Phase 2: Past Paper Application (30 Mins): Apply concepts directly to past papers targeting mark-scheme precision.
Phase 3: Specialized Drills (15 to 30 Mins): Run timed organic mechanism drawings and nomenclature quizzes.
Physics (60 to 90 Mins)
Phase 1: Concept & Formula Check (20 Mins): Test equation recall and clarify unit conversions or physical laws.
Phase 2: Step-by-Step Breakdown (30 to 40 Mins): Solve multi-step problems together, focusing on free-body diagrams and correct setups.
Phase 3: Past Papers & Error Analysis (20 Mins): Solve exam questions under time pressure and log logical missteps.
