backpackers with their language skills and preparation for job interviews.
CHILE
2006 Atcom outsourcing company: Contracted to design and deliver an EAL
course for IT consultants. Course material used: New Interchange and various
other materials.
2001-2002 Henri Renna Institute, Santiago: Instructed at ACEROS Chile, SA to
engineers and the upper management of NEC Chile.
2003-2006 Shelia May’s Institute in Santiago: Conducted classes for several
mining companies including Phelps Dodge, Pelambres, Codelco and BHP.
Classes were geared towards getting students familiar with business vocabulary
and cross cultural situations. Levels taught were from pre-intermediate to
advanced
2003-2007 Polyglot Mitford Institute , Santiago: Instructed various companies
including Deloitte & Touche, Ernst & Young. BBVA, Santander Bank and Banco
Santiago.
2005-2006 Corporate English, Santiago: Taught business English to banking
executives using materials such as Market Leader and Business Objectives.
2007 Translation of the Alerce Andino Chilean outdoor adventure company’s web
page from Spanish to English.
2008-2009 English Executive Solutions: Taught English to IT consultants

Hi my name is Damien and I am a qualified ESL/EAL teacher with 10 years experience instructing in Australia and overseas. I spent the good part of the 2000's in South America, Chile, Argentina and Brazil where I taught 'one on one' and 'group classes' to students of all ages and business executives. My classes are aimed at uncovering a students weakness and enhancing their strengths in grammatical, written and conversational English. I will endeavour to help you reach your goals and set you in the right direction to perfect your English.
I have a Certificate IV in TESOL and a Certificate IV in TAE
