About Spencer
With 14 years of experience teaching piano, I have worked with students from all walks of life, including school students, college students, and working professionals. My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, creativity, and building a strong foundation in music. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor lessons to their needs, helping them progress at their own pace while keeping learning fun and meaningful.
I have helped many students perform confidently in recitals, competitions, and public events. My lessons balance technical skills, theory, and musical expression, ensuring students not only master the piano but also develop a deep love for music. I also encourage improvisation and creativity, allowing students to explore their own musical ideas.
Through personalized guidance and continuous support, I aim to make piano learning an enjoyable and rewarding journey. Seeing my students achieve their goals and develop confidence in music is the most fulfilling part of my work. My mission is to nurture not only skill but also a lifelong appreciation for the art of piano.

My Piano teaching methodology is centered on Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity. I believe piano learning should help students build skill, confidence, and discipline.
Lessons emphasize essential piano skills such as posture, finger placement, coordination, rhythm, and music reading. These are taught step by step using exercises and suitable songs. As students progress, I introduce scales, chords, sight-reading, and musical expression. Flexibility ensures lessons move at a comfortable pace.
Collaboration allows students to take an active role in learning. I encourage questions, feedback, and student choice in lesson material. Clear practice routines help students improve consistently.
Positivity is a key part of my teaching environment. I create a friendly and encouraging space where students feel supported. Along with piano, I also teach basic music theory, rhythm training, ear development, and effective practice methods. My goal is to help students enjoy piano while growing into confident musicians
