About Julian
I am a committed flute tutor with 10 years of experience teaching students from school to college level, and I am passionate about helping them grow both musically and personally. My journey in music has taught me the importance of patience, dedication, and continuous learning, and I bring these values into my teaching.
Over the years, I have worked with many students, helping them develop their skills and gain confidence in performing. One of my proudest achievements has been seeing students participate in competitions and events with confidence and enthusiasm.
My teaching method is simple, structured, and practical, focusing on strong fundamentals such as breathing techniques, finger placement, tone clarity, and consistent practice. I also encourage creativity and enjoyment in learning, as I believe music should be both meaningful and fun.
My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel motivated, confident, and inspired to achieve their goals.

My teaching methodology for flute is based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I believe that learning flute should be an enjoyable and confidence-building journey for every student. I begin by understanding each student’s level, goals, and learning style so I can design lessons that suit them personally.
I motivate students by setting small and achievable goals and encouraging them regularly, which helps them stay focused and consistent. Communication is a key part of my teaching, and I explain breathing techniques, finger placement, posture, and tone production in a simple and clear way. I make sure students understand each concept before moving forward.
With integrity, I guide students step by step and focus on building strong fundamentals. I provide honest feedback and support their improvement patiently. Creativity allows me to make lessons engaging through songs, exercises, and interactive activities. Along with flute, I also teach music theory, rhythm, and listening skills to support overall musical development.
