About Joe Marie
I am a dedicated elementary teacher with a passion for shaping young minds and preparing students for a brighter future. With over nine years of teaching experience in the Philippines and the United States, I specialize in mathematics, music, arts, physical education, and science. As a J1 teacher in the U.S., I strive to instill strong character, morals, and values in my students while helping them develop essential academic skills. Throughout my career, I have been recognized for my excellence in teaching, earning awards such as Rookie of the Year and Exemplary Teacher Awardee at Naga Central School II. I have also successfully coached students in citywide sports competitions, dance sports, and journalism contests. Currently, I teach 5th and 6th-grade mathematics at BridgePrep Academy School of Duval in Jacksonville, Florida. My experience in Montessori and traditional teaching methods allows me to adapt to diverse learners and create an engaging classroom environment. I am passionate about helping students grow academically and holistically through innovative teaching strategies, mentorship, and continuous learning.
