About Luke
Hi, I’m Luke! And for the past five years, photography has been at the center of everything I do. I’ve gained experience across commercial, sports, portrait, and creative photography, and I’m currently studying Film in Lisbon. I love sharing what I’ve learned and helping students grow as confident, creative photographers. My work covers a wide range of projects: short films premiered to audiences, commercial photography for companies, photos and videos for local sports clubs, music videos for artists, concert photography, and my own personal projects — through both digital and analog. I truly enjoy working with people and helping them improve their skills. Photography shapes the way I see the world, and I love guiding others to discover their own unique perspective. My lessons mix theory and hands-on practice, encouraging students to get out and shoot their own photos while I provide feedback and tips to help them take their skills to the next level. Classes are held online via Zoom in English, with availability during weekday evenings and on weekends.

As your photography tutor, I’ll guide you through both the theory and practice of photography using clear explanations, visual aids, feedback, and examples from my own work. My lessons are personalized to your goals and skill level — whether you’re a complete beginner exploring photography as a new hobby or someone with experience looking to refine your craft. A typical class includes: Theory: mastering key concepts such as composition (rule of thirds, leading lines), exposure, and lighting. Practice: small in-class exercises and photography assignments to complete between lessons. Feedback: reviewing your photos together so you know what’s working, what to improve, and how to take your shots to the next level. You’ll also gain inspiration from great photographers and learn how to apply their techniques to your own work. My goal is simple: to help you build confidence with your camera and develop the skills to create professional-looking, creative photographs you’ll be proud of.
