About Ayaan
hess is a passion for me, I started learning it when I was a child and it has increased over the years becoming my profession as well. I was born in Ukraine where this sport is very much practiced and I first started studying chess there at the age of 7.
It was in Ukraine that I earned my MC title. My family and I moved to Italy when I was still a child and here I have had success both as a chess player and instructor. In 2014 I became a Fide Master (FM) and in 2018 an International Master (IM).
I am the Italian Rapid Champion and I have participated multiple times to the CIA (Italian Absolute Championship).
In the last few years, apart from actively playing chess, I have been teaching it at various levels - from private lessons to being an istructor for the Italian Chess Federation. I have also been the instructor for the Italian U20 players at the world cup twice, first in Italy 2017 then in Turkey 2018.

Each student has its own personalised lessons in which I talk about one particular argument and then assign some “homework” to strengthen what has been learnt.
I also replicate matches played by students to understand their problems and limitations and I suggest solutions to overcome them. Working on the weak points of students, allows them to grow and become stronger players.
