About Emilie
I am an export assistant speaking French and English fluently. I lived in Ireland for 7 years. I have a Master's degree in languages (English and Spanish) applied to commerce. My level of Portuguese is intermediate. I taught English and Spanish when I was in college, for teenagers aged 12 to 15, in my hometown. Classes were weekly at the house, lasting about 3 hours each time. I did this for 2 years regularly. I was using their own textbooks as material, as they wanted to improve their levels and follow the national program. From 2013 to 2019, I managed a French conversation group in Ireland. I organized a meeting approximately twice a month. The meetings lasted about 3 hours each time and included conversation with participants of all ages / levels, where I provided corrections, explanations of vocabulary and grammar in French.

My classes are based on and adapted to the specific needs of the student, with grammar, vocabulary and conversation on various subjects. The first class is dedicated to understanding what the student intends to achieve, determining his level of knowledge and whether he prefers a method of conversation or written exercises. I am a friendly, fun and reliable teacher, with excellent feedback from the students I helped along the way.

I found Emilie to be a very knowledgeable teacher while at the same time being very patient. Sometimes I know how to speak some French but do not have the confidence.
