About Daniela

Hi, I’m Daniela. I’ve spent more than 10 years working in recruitment, including agency and in-house roles within the technology sector, and I’ve been coaching candidates for interviews since 2016.

Over the years, I’ve interviewed hundreds of candidates and seen firsthand why highly capable people sometimes miss out on roles - not because they lack experience, but because they struggle to communicate their value clearly in an interview.

My coaching combines both sides of the table: I understand what recruiters and hiring managers are actually listening for, and I know how to help you turn your experience into clear, compelling answers without sounding scripted.

Most importantly, I’ll explain what the interviewer is actually assessing behind each question, so you understand not just what to say, but why your answer works.

Before the session:

I review your CV/resume, the job description and any interview information you've received so I can tailor the session specifically to the opportunity.

During the session:

We run a realistic mock interview based on the questions you're most likely to be asked. I’ll then coach you through:

- how to structure strong answers without sounding rehearsed
- behavioural and competency questions
- “Tell me about yourself”
- communicating achievements and impact
- handling difficult or unexpected questions
- explaining career changes, gaps or weaknesses
- answering concisely without underselling yourself
- questions to ask the interviewer

Most importantly, I explain what the interviewer is actually assessing behind each question.

You’ll leave knowing not only what to say, but why your answer works, so the skills transfer to future interviews as well.

  • When did you start your personal development? What motivated this choice?

My personal development journey has been a constant journey in life and is very connected to spirituality and the reasons for being on this earth. I believe we are all here for a purpose and we all have gifts that we can share with others. It's our job to find our purpose and reason for being here. For me, I realised that I love to help and inspire others on their journey, personally and professionally through life advice and interview coaching which is something that has come naturally from my experience in recruitment over the years. I love helping others to realise their own potential and find that self confidence so that they can go after their dreams.
  • Describe your own understanding of "personal development" and what can it bring in the short and long-term?

I see personal development as a journey of being connected to one's own spiritual path, which when we do, opens the path forward to living in alignment with our own soul's purpose and living a life that makes us happy and in accordance with our own values. We need to stop doing what we think we should do, and start doing what makes us happy.
  • What are some practical tips to help improve self-confidence?

There are many different areas of life that we can have more confidence in. Becoming more inquisitive about the areas where we feel a lack of self confidence and taking time for reflection is the place to start. Experiences from our childhood is normally where these wounds or self limiting beliefs start so I believe spiritually practices are the most powerful way to make changes in our lives from the inside.

Regarding confidence in interviews or any other areas of our life will also experience a causal effect from this. The next most practical way to gain confidence in interviews is to practice them and also understand what the interviewers are really looking for. That way you know how to make yourself shine.
  • Do you think a teacher can learn from their students? Is there a lesson where you have experienced this?

As a teacher, I do also learn from my students' experiences and perspectives and they can teach me many things or share experiences that I haven't yet encountered. I love to learn and understand how other people think.
  • What personalities do you admire; who represents personal and professional success in your opinion?

I admire people who have faced adversity in their lives and have been needed to become extremely resilient in the process. For example, the recent story of Britney Spears for me is astonishing to see what she went through and I always thought Britney was a very kind, caring and people pleasing person who was taken advantage of throughout her life. She has come out the other end, unfortunately she is damaged but at least the injustices against her are coming to light and our collective can learn from her experience. I don't really follow the whole celebrity scene but I love to learn from people on the spiritual path who are helping to wake people up about why we are really here and what it all means.
  • What are your hobbies and what benefits do they have on your motivation?

My hobbies are actually now spending time alone where I can focus less on doing and more on being in the present moment, meditating and going inward. Society tells us that we should constantly be doing, achieving and striving in order to be worthy but I now realise that true success comes from within. I am also a believer in the universal laws of manifestation and spend a lot of time exploring this. I also enjoy reading and I've always had a love for dancing and travel.
  • Who are your classes for, specifically? Is this domain open to all?

My classes are for anyone and everyone. As you can see, I have a lot of experience in the careers, corporate, recruitment industry but I am also a spiritual person who can offer a lot of guidance and support from that angle to anyone who might be feeling lost or unsure about how to navigate their next steps. Whatever the situation, my desire is to help and I have a lot of empathy. This is my biggest strength.
  • bBeing a Superprof requires some adaptability. Tell us about your methods in adapting to different individuals.

As I just mentioned, empathy is my biggest strength which is key for adaptability because it allows me to see things from another person's perspective. There are no set sessions and everything just flows based on your needs.
