About Riona
I have always loved school and would describe myself as being open minded and curious. I enjoy learning and I would like to share the importance of loving what you’re learning about with other students. I feel it is important that you have an interest in the subject you are studying and my aim in my grinds sessions will be to make learning easier and more enjoyable whilst focusing on achieving a H1 grade.
I have played the fiddle for 9 years, therefore music plays a pivotal role in my daily life!
I also play football with my local gaa team which allows me to broaden my social circle!
I am a keen animal lover, I have a Shetland pony and believe it or not he too played a pivotal role in my IIS project in Ag science.
I hope to teach with focus, diligence, fun and enthusiasm!

As head student in Galway’s leading Gaelscoil, Coláiste na Coiribe, I developed my level of Irish furthermore and I take pride in incorporating it into my daily life.
Gaeilge
Through my online grinds sessions, I will focus on the Oral exam and conversational strengths that are vital in assuring that 40% in April ‘24. I will carefully follow the curriculum outline and provide might students with both H1 written notes as well as audio recordings which focus on pronunciation, grammar and accent. These are all elements of fluency which will be an enormous help coming up to the oral exam. As well as this, I will ensure that the student feels comfortable enough to ask questions or have their own aims for the outcome of the grinds.
Agricultural Science
This is a complex subject which requires a keen interest in both science, nature and animals. I will focus on the IIS project which is a huge responsibility on the student. I will aim to cover and revise each chapter in detail and will include weekly quizzes to track the students progress.
