About Jonathan
Jonathan Colafrancesco is an Italian dancer, choreographer, and teacher based in New York.
He has danced in productions by international choreographers such as Roberta Ferrara, Rena Butler, Roya Carrera, Caleb Teicher, Assaf Salhov, Igal Perry, Tsai-Hsi Hung, Yoshito Sakuraba, Vive Khamsingsavath, Michelle Thompson Ulerich, Eamon Foley, Christian Warner, Simon Kuban, and Norbert De La Cruz III. Jonathan is currently a dancer for Peter Stathas Dance, Artichoke Dance Company, Body Mouth, McKoy Dance Project, Matthew Westerby Company, LaneCoArts, ChristinaNoel & The Creature, and Pony Box Dance Theatre. Throughout his career, he has also danced in other professional companies such as Nimbus Dance Works, Ballet Nepantla, White Wave, Spark Movement Collective, Project Tag, and Tabula Rasa Dance Theatre. He was recently a swing performer in the immersive off-Broadway production of Life and Trust.

My classes span from classical ballet technique to find balance, and contemporary to find stability out of balance. Improving groundedness with floorwork fundamentals, and use of leverage for contemporary weight-sharing partnering. Immersive theater style notions to find pedestrian expressiveness.
