About Marco
I was born to a Kiwi mother and an Italian father and have spent most of my life in Italy. However, for work, I have been living between Auckland and Melbourne. I am currently working as an Assistant Manager at one of Melbourne’s most prestigious hotels. I am friendly, easygoing, and get along well with everyone. My goal is to teach Italian through informal, general conversations in a relaxed setting—whether over coffee or in a casual meetup. It would be great to meet new people whilst teaching Italian, so what are you waiting for? Iniziamo a parlare in italiano!

My mother tongue is Italian/English as my father is Italian and my mother is from New Zealand. I can describe myself as a very friendly and easygoing person. I get along with everyone, I’m basically a people’s person. I love to learn new cultures and my main hobby for now is to learn Mandarin. I have been living in New Zealand for the last 2 years and now I’m currently based in Melbourne for work. I’m not a qualified Italian teacher; however, my personality fits perfectly to make people feel more comfortable learning Italian. My method of teaching Italian will be via friendly conversations about general topics which in my personal opinion is the most efficient (and most fun) way to learn Italian. Looking forward to meeting new people whilst learning Italian :)
