About Sofia
I already have experience in teaching, both as a private tutor and as a teacher in school. In 2018 I taught Italian as a foreign language in a German-speaking middle school in ltaly, an experience that taught me a lot about working with children and teenagers. Moreover, I worked as a private tutor for a long time during my studies and since August 2021 I've been working as a language teacher both as a freelancer and for language schools in Vienna with teenagers and adults. My work experience showed me that transmitting knowledge gives me a lot of satisfaction and that I enjoy working with teenagers and adults.

I always try to create a pleasant working atmosphere, so that the students feels at ease and can trust me. I'm not a big fan of the strict classical teaching method, I prefer it when the students have fun in class. I love combining different teaching methods: apart from the book, I usuallz use games and quizzes with my students, which help lear memorizing words and learning grammar.

Details
In 2017 I successfully completed my bachelor's degree in Translation studies at the University of Innsbruck. During my bachelor's degree, I expanded my language skills and learned new methods of learning foreign languages. I recently got my Master's degree in Translation studies at the University of Vienna. I've been working on a full-time basis as a language tutor since August 2021.
