About Elena
Ciao!
Having graduated in Science of Language Mediation, I know what it means to learn a language that is not your own and how stressful it can become.
For me, teaching a language is not only about grammar, but also about conveying a culture. Already at university, I was enlightened every time I met someone studying Italian.
After graduating, I decided to turn my passion into a job and in Rome I learnt how to use the Communicative Method by taking the Dilit Diploma... and I haven't stopped since!
I started teaching in Munich, Germany and my passion took me all the way to Sydney, Australia, where I am currently located.
My job is my greatest passion, and I hope to see you soon in class!

What do we do in class?
TALK, TALK AND TALK...
The lessons are fun and individual, with the main focus on conversation! That doesn't mean, however, that we never do grammar . Teaching doesn't only mean grammar rules, but also transmitting a culture: learning proverbs, idioms, slightly 'slang' expressions. That's why we only use authentic materials: texts and listening, but also videos and songs.
