About Rosa
I am a certified teacher of italian as a foreign language (CEDILS certification) and I am currently teaching to foreign students with A1 / A2 level.
I also give school support to elementary and middle school children with their homework .
My interest in linguistics and communication has pushed me towards teaching and lifelong learning in this domain. For this reason, I attended the course "Tutor DSA-ADHD" to support children with learning difficulties in managing their homework; I obtained the 24 CFU for teaching and I participated in refresher courses organized by Dante Alighieri and ALMA Edizioni.
I have a degree in "Modern languages and cultures" and a master's degree in "Linguistics, persuasive communication, technologies and cognitive studies".
My passion for cognitive studies and technologies has also led me to work in the field of human-computer interaction, earning a PhD in "Telematics and Information Society".

I use a communicative approach to language, during which I like to guide the student to the autonomous discovery of the rules of language and its nuances. The student is not a container to be filled in but he builds his own knowledge with the help of the teacher. Furthermore, in the structuring of the lessons I follow the globality-analysis-synthesis method, based on the researches of Gestalt psychology: I start from an introduction of the topic that elicits the student's prior knowledge, to arrive to the the anilysis of the subject studied.
The cultural aspects that range from music, visual art and theater cannot be missing, together with the everyday life of informal communication, which is experienced by walking in the streets, listening and interacting with the locals in a totally immersive atmosphere.
