Hi, It’s lovely to meet you! I’m Chloe a recent Geography graduate. I love looking at biodiversity, biogeography, and all things ecology, particularly when out investigating on the field.

About Chloe
I have several lines of experience tutoring and face to face teaching; from partaking in a peer mentoring scheme, volunteering in lower school lessons to currently being course rep, as well as being Head-girl in college. I thrive from new opportunities, and I will always look to help in whatever way I can.
My previous lines of work experience have shaped my sessions today. I think a goal, and constant recapping of materials is integral to success. Additionally, a student’s confidence is key to their success, that’s why I will always choose to develop their knowledge through their own learning style, bringing them more confidence in the process, driving towards there success, whatever that may be!
During my educational career I have taken a variety of exams from presentations, short answer factual recall right up to essays!
Top tips for exams would be routine! For revision and for your hobbies this will allow you to get organized, essential for success no matter the level.

It's true, everyone learns in a different way! No two learners are the same, and I strongly believe my sessions reflect this...
I will always speak with a student to find out how they like to learn, after all these are their sessions, and my focus is all about their learning!
At the start of a session block I will always liaise with the student, speaking with them about what truly it is they want to fulfil, and I understand having been there before that this may change - therefore I am always flexible with the students, plans can change whether they be due to tests or another reason, I am always working with the student to maximise their learning outcomes.
Our sessions will always contain a recap of the previous session’s material - frequent revision is integral to success!
In order to maximise learning, my sessions vary depending upon the needs of a student, the main lesson activities vary in order to keep the student engaged for example: gap fills, making summary tables, puzzles, exam questions and so much more...
As a tutor summarising is just as important as the learning. The consolidation of the material allows for a greater depth of understanding! Whether that be through summary questions, exam questions or mapping ideas - flexibility for me is key!
