About Christian
My teaching style is patient and encouraging, accompanied by appropriate practice material and prepared pieces that fit each student’s needs for growth as assessed. I want every student of mine to learn how to play trumpet in a way that reinforces the importance of practice, repetition and dedication. Some simple exercises would include learning scales (major, minor and chromatic) as fit the VBODA standard of learning, lip slurs and range development, varying scale pattern routines and developing a prepared common repertoire of songs.

I learned trumpet in 2010 and have played continuously. I currently play several genres as a solo artist to include classical, jazz, pop, r&b and some Latin. Happy to take on anyone in need of a trumpet teacher at the beginner or intermediate playing level.
