About Paul
I have been visiting Japan for more than 20 years, have a degree in Japanese language with a minor in Japanese studies. I have lived and worked there for many years and have Level 1 Proficiency qualifications. I have helped many students from High School through to advanced university improve their language skills in both speaking, reading and writing abilities.

My teaching method is to allow the students to see the language not just as something to be learnt in a textbook but a living, breathing method of communication and way to connect with Japanese people and culture. I concentrate on allowing my students to fully understand the language, not just memorise patterns.
