With 5 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music focusing on Guitar, I bring a holistic and mindful approach to learning. My method combines the power of movement techniques like Alexander Technique and conscious breathing to help students play with ease and reduce physical tension. I believe that understanding your body is as important as mastering the instrument.
Visual learning plays a big role in my lessons. I use clear diagrams and fretboard maps to make complex concepts accessible and engaging. Alongside this, I incorporate auditory playbacks so students can hear and internalize musical ideas effectively.
Performance anxiety is a common challenge I help students overcome. Together, we develop confidence through both technical skills and mental preparation, ensuring you feel ready for every stage or jam session. Technique-building is never rushed; it’s a steady, mindful journey tailored to your pace.
