About John
I have a Ph.D. in Synthetic Chemistry from Loughborough University. Since 2018, I have taught hundreds of students in a State Sixth Form College, leading them to final A-Level exams. In the 2023/24 session, my students achieved 100% (A-D), 60% (A* - B) and 35% (A* - A). I have helped many students progress from E and U grades to B and A grades and in 2025, I want to make my skills and techniques available to a wider audience. I want to work with students to identify weak points and create a clear study plan (including independent learning time) which leads to quicker progress that builds confidence. My lessons will run for one hour at a time and students will get exercises to complete between sessions. Past Exam Questions will be used to review your progress.
