About VICTORIA

I have three years experience with using shorthand and have qualified through the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ). I am also a journalism graduate of Brunel University, West London.

At present, I work in an FE college, supporting, teaching and providing guidance to our students. Although I have currently spent little time with teaching shorthand, my current position allows me the correct level of experience and attentiveness to begin doing so.

About the lesson

If you're interested in learning how to write in shorthand, look no further. Lessons can be offered to any level pupil; enthusiasm and a willing to learn is all that is required. The form of shorthand that will be taught is Teeline, great for journalists, secretaries and general note-taking.

You will be provided with one-to-one support, to teach you from beginning to end how to write in shorthand. Worksheets will also be provided free via email upon request.

We will set aims, allowing you to get your writing speed from a standard 40 words per minute (WPM) to approximately 100 wpm.
