About Jo
Hi, I am Jo and I am a native English speaker from Cork, Ireland. I have two degrees, one in Journalism and Media and another in English. I have also completed two Master's degrees. I am currently getting my TEFL certificate but have already taught students English for the last 5 years, both in person and online. I am really looking forward to meeting new people and having great conversations while helping you improve your English :)

I like to start with getting to know the student and their individual needs. Every student is different and it is important for me that I am able to adapt my teaching style to suit my students' needs. Classes are conversational based while covering topics such as grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Questions are always encouraged and so are particular topics that students wish to focus on. At the end of the day, I am here to help students improve their English in whatever way suits them best.
