About Noel
I have worked as a journalist for 40 years with experience as national magazine editor and newspaper sub-editor and writer including 25 years as a journalist at The Courier-Mail newspaper. I have worked as a university journalism tutor with experience helping international students working with English as a second language. I am completing a Diploma of Education in Teaching English to Speakers of a Second Language (TESOL) through TAFE. My novel RPM won the Qld Premier's Literature Award in 2010 and was published by University of Qld Press in 2011.

This methodology integrates the core skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing through the use of relevant texts and situations. My tutorials cover grammar and writing. I make the lessons tailored to the needs of each student and keep the lessons as varied as possible to keep learners focused and energised towards achieving their study, work and life goals.
