About Demi
Originally from Manchester, England, I moved to the beautiful Rocky Mountains in Canada when I was 16 and I never left. After high school I went to college to study Communications with a major in journalism. I didn’t really know where that would take me, but what I did know was that I loved to write, and finding a major that allowed me to do just that was pivotal. Once I graduated I worked for a year with a newspaper before transitioning to TV and online news with Global News. I stayed here for six years before branching out on my own as a freelancer. This is when I published my debut novel. Suffice to say I’ve been writing my entire career and I can’t wait to continue and share my passion with more people and students.
