I have had the privilege of studying with Yuyu for the past three years, and she has been an incredible teacher and mentor throughout my journey.

She has an exceptional ability to explain technique with remarkable clarity and precision, along with a deep understanding of how the body can be used effectively in violin playing. She also offers thoughtful and informed suggestions for musical interpretation, drawing on her extensive knowledge of harmony and historical context. Yuyu is a caring, methodical, and highly dedicated violin teacher. She is firm and demanding in the best way, while keeping lessons positive, encouraging, and genuinely fun - my child loves working with her.

Under Yuyu’s guidance, together with consistent weekly follow-through from me as a parent, my child has made tremendous progress and grown noticeably in both confidence and ability on the violin. Yuyu has a clear sense of what needs to be developed and approaches each step with patience, structure, and high expectations.
