About Lavanya
I’m a junior doctor with a BSc in Biomedical Sciences and an MBBS. Having gone through years of intense study and multiple exams, I understand how challenging science can feel at times. Teaching allows me to share what I’ve learnt — not just the content itself, but effective ways to approach it. I enjoy breaking down complex topics into simple, memorable explanations and helping students see how biology connects to real life and medicine. Watching students gain confidence and improve their understanding is genuinely rewarding, and it’s what drives me to teach. My goal is to make lessons engaging, exam-focused, and tailored to each student’s learning style so they can reach their full potential.

I’m a junior doctor with a BSc in Biomedical Sciences and an MBBS. My lessons are typically an hour long and focus on exam preparation, using real past questions and targeted revision strategies. I’ve been through several medical exams myself and understand how to study efficiently. I currently teach medical students and junior doctors but also offer engaging, exam-focused biology lessons for GCSE and A-level students. My approach is structured, supportive, and designed to build confidence as well as understanding.
