About Malika
I’m hugely familiar with the college application process—I did apply and get admitted into 13 schools. As someone with all of that knowledge still fresh in mind, I know what admissions officers are looking for along with the current state of college applications. Throughout the past two years, I’ve helped my peers with their applications and want to continue helping those whose shoes I was once in.

The college application process can be a daunting task if not provided with the proper guidance. After struggling to craft an application that captured who I was, I was admitted into top 25 schools including UCLA, UC Berkeley, and Cornell University. For this reason, I strive to equip each student with the resources they will need to ensure that they showcase all they have to offer in their college applications.
Each student will be provided with a personalized plan to complete the applications for the schools they want to attend. I can help with applications through the Common App portal, UC portal, and CSU portal.
The first lesson will be a way for me to learn about the student and draft a plan that will cater to their needs. We will briefly go over their academic interests and extracurricular activities and then delve into which areas they would like to take on first (personal statements, activities lists, etc.). After that, we will interact on a basis that is convenient for them.
This advertisement is intended for high school seniors, given that most college applications open up in the fall prior to the year of enrollment. However, I can help provide an early start with personal statements for those in lower grades (along with summer program essays).
