About Beatriz
I came to London at the age of 10 after spending most of my childhood in Portugal. In under a year, I went from barely knowing a word in English to being fluent and by the time I finished my GCSE's in year 11 I was top student in most of my classes. I started tutoring my friends who struggled to achieve high grades, but it was not until two years ago that I started working as a tutor. Since then my passion for teaching has only grown and I hope to inspire others to fall in love with their subjects as much as I did

My methods of teaching are based on the individual and what they need to work on the most. For example, I have been tutoring Spanish for nearly 2 years now to a student whose school didn't teach the language and he is currently expected to be getting a 9 at GCSE. For him, he needed more work on his speaking skills so our lessons revolved around that. So, I adapt my teaching to what I believe needs more development. Typically, I do 1 hour lessons.
