About Miguel
Miguel is a Brisbane-based artist and cultural practitioner from the Philippines, with a dual degree in the Arts & Sciences from the University of Queensland (Ecology, Russian and Spanish). During his free time, he enjoys being an intrepid explorer of Australian flora and fauna, counting museums and botanical gardens as two of his most usual haunts, something he picked up in his formative years as a Filipino teen at the heart of the Australian landscape.

My name is Miguel and I'm a native speaker of the Tagalog language. I also grew up speaking fluent English, and can confidently hold basic conversations in Spanish and Portuguese. As a polyglot, I'm well aware of the challenges of learning a new language and therefore better suited to help you overcome them. Classes will be 1hr minimum and tailored to your personal needs. There you will learn the basics of grammar, receive valuable cultural tips and insights, and practice real life conversation scenarios that will help you feel confident to communicate with other Pinoys on the go.
