About Komal
I am a Gandharva graduate in Kathak with over 15 years of experience exploring, understanding, and imbibing knowledge in this art form, along with 8+ years of dedicated teaching experience. My journey as a dancer and educator has been shaped by rigorous training, continuous learning, performances, and close engagement with students from diverse backgrounds.
I believe in authentic training, consistent practice, and thoughtful guidance, creating a supportive and disciplined learning environment where students can grow with confidence. Whether learning for personal enrichment, performance, or formal examinations, I bring the same level of care, clarity, and professionalism to every class.
My aim is to preserve the depth and tradition of Kathak while making it accessible and meaningful for today’s learners.

Teaching Approach:
I follow a structured yet flexible (as per age) teaching method, focusing on strong technique, rhythm, and expression. Classes typically include warm-ups, tatkar, chakkars, traditional compositions, and abhinaya, ensuring balanced progress.
My teaching stands out for its clear breakdown of movements, personal attention, and a disciplined yet encouraging approach.
Classes are suitable for students aged 10+ up to 60 years, including school students, college-level learners, and adult beginners as well.
