Hi, I’m Katherine, a professional violinist and pianist who studied for 5 years at The Royal College of Music in London gaining a masters degree.
I have toured the world as a violinist with The Royal Philharmonic orchestra and have just left the BBC Symphony Orchestra earlier this year to make a new life in Southbourne.
I have taught violin and piano to beginners up to diploma for 26 years now and adore every moment, sharing my passion for music and experience with them. Since my early twenties I have gain prolific teaching experience both privately and within school settings. I firmly believe that music should be fun and engaging!

I have toured the world as a violinist with The Royal Philharmonic orchestra and have just left the BBC Symphony Orchestra to make a new life in Southbourne. I now freelance with The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra alonmgside managing a music franchise.
I have taught violin and piano to beginners up to diploma for 26 years now and adore every moment, sharing my passion for music and experience with them.
