About Tim
I am a 29-year-old Latin teacher open to take on new pupils! I have plenty of experience working with children of all ages, and currently work as the Head of Classics at two prep schools in North London. Since graduating with a degree in Classics from Trinity College Dublin in Ireland in 2019, I have worked at one of the leading all-girls boarding schools in the UK, and have taught both beginner and intermediate level Latin to school students. With a background in improvised comedy, I like to make Latin enjoyable to learn for everyone, and I take great pride in the progress and achievements of my students. I am committed to your improvement in Latin, but most importantly I am patient and ready to help you with whatever you need.

I am a kind and friendly tutor with over 3 years' experience working with 9-16 year olds. I am 29 years old and based in North London. I graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a degree in Classics and have taught Latin at a number of prep schools across London for the past 5 years as well as many private clients. My teaching style is very open; we can tailor your lessons to your specific needs. You're welcome to bring your homework, particular topics you are struggling with, or just come along for extra help in Latin. I offer lessons for any age up to GCSE level standard. So if you're a beginner, know a few words and want to improve or you're at school and need extra help, we can organise a free video call and discuss your Latin needs! I can tutor via video, or at a place convenient for you in and around North London.
