About Ellie
Born in the US, I studied visual and performing arts at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. During my senior year, I auditioned for LAMDA and was granted a place in their 2018-19 MA in Classical Acting Course. This course has not only given me the tools to be a stronger actor, but also the tools to help fellow actors in their skills.

When auditioning for drama schools, it is handy to have multiple monologues at the ready: at least two contemporary and two classical. During our sessions, we will find, practice, and polish these monologues. Classical monologues tend to intimidate actors, so we will take time with these. After we discuss the text and what the individual words and phrases mean, we will get onto our feet and ease into the heightened language--it's nothing to be frightened of!
