About Amelia
I have always been interested in languages and foreign cultures. I am keen to spread that enjoyment of languages to my students. During my undergraduate degree, I spent a year studying at Kyoto University in Japan where I was able to immerse myself in Japanese culture and expand my love for the language. I also enjoy visiting German speaking countries whenever I have the chance. I recently stayed on a farm near to Salzburg where the Christmas carol "silent night" was apparently written. I also took advantages of school exchange programmes whilst I was doing my own GCSEs and A levels. My goal is to make GCSE revision engaging and effective, helping students build confidence while enjoying the learning process.

Non-GCSE students of any age looking for a solid foundation in German or Japanese are also welcome.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long, designed to build confidence and understanding step by step.
I’m a high-level speaker of both languages and focus on clear explanations and practical learning.
