About Negar
I am a designer, historian and language instructor with a deep interest in Persian language and culture. I was born and raised in Iran and left the country age 24.
Even in Iran itself I used to teach Persian literature to high school students and when I moved to the US, I continued the practice.

I have been a Persian language teacher since 2009, both as a private tutor and as a university instructor. I also have tutored elementary school students and mixed the language learning process with painting and art.
I'd love to help others learn this beautiful language and can provide learning materials I've used for years as well as chapters of the book I'm working on to provide the best learning experience for you. If you prefer to only work on your listening and speaking (and not reading/writing) we can change our focus accordingly as well.
