About Tatiana
I am a philologist, language teacher, and researcher wandering between ancient texts, living languages, and stories carried across centuries. Trained in History and Philology (Classics) at HSE University, Moscow, I specialize in Classical Antiquity, Byzantinology, and historical linguistics.
For several years, I have been teaching languages in both academic and private settings, helping students discover how languages work and the worlds hidden inside it. I teach Ancient Greek, Modern Greek, Latin, Russian, and English to learners of all ages and backgrounds — from complete beginners taking their very first steps into a new alphabet to senior learners returning to a lifelong dream.
I also speak French, German, Hungarian, and Chinese at an intermediate level. For me, language learning is a kind of journey — sometimes scholarly, sometimes playful, but undoubtedly a key to seeing the world through different perspectives
