About Emily
I have been studying Spanish for about 10 years and have a GCSE, A Level and my levels B2 and C1.1 in Spanish. I study Spanish at university, where I am about to start my fourth and final year, after living and studying in Andalucia Spain for five months. I have spent a lot of time in Spain over the years, allowing me to practice a lot.
I have not officially tutored Spanish before but I helped in a GCSE Spanish class and tutored English language whilst in sixthform.

I will obviously adapt lessons to fit age and ability but I generally think lessons should be as fun and as interactive as possible, with a focus on speaking and listening. At the same time, I will ensure we practice reading and writing, as well as learning core grammar.

I have recently been taking Portuguese lessons with Emily. The first session was great as she spent time finding out what my current level was and what I was trying to learn and why. She then tailored the lessons going forward to this and undertook a lot of preperation. She has a very encouraging and relaxed teaching style and was genuinely interested. I have been making good progress and I would strongly recommend her.
