About James
International Relations and Middle East Studies grad who has been working almost exclusively in communications positions for emerging financial firms across Australia and Europe. My in-country professional experience in Qatar, Jordan, Hungary, Austria and the Czech Republic allows me to draw from a multitude of historical case studies to provide tailored, engaging lesson plans. This has resulted in a 100% pass rate of my pupils over the last 3 years, over both pre-tertiary and tertiary courses.

My teaching methodology is completely reliant on the needs of my pupils, as well as their respective goals and abilities. Pre-exam preparation concentrates largely on exam strategy, information recall techniques and relevant topical learning, while mid-year tutoring tends to be a more methodical, in-depth exploration of the relevant topics. I find that engagement is key when working through complex issues such as those in international politics and so I find both 1-to-1 and small group lessons to be very effective.
