About Bubelo

I am a fifth year Law and International Relations student with several years teaching and tutoring English in Zimbabwe, South Africa and Spain. Whilst in Zimbabwe, I was a member of Girls' College youth groups that taught English to less privileged children at a primary school in Zihlengeni, just outside Bulawayo, the second largest city in Zimbabwe. Whilst in Spain, I have experience tutoring primary school children written and spoken English. In addition to teaching English, I have experience teaching Entrepreneurial Leadership to teenagers. I also have experience testing, modify and designing a new learning and teaching model for a university pilot program involving working with high schools in South Africa, such as Crawford Schools and companies such as Coca-Cola.

About the lesson

My approach is divided into 3 segments, namely, 1) Understanding the Topic The student first, with the help of myself finds out what they don't know. Then introduce and teach the topic: using various materials such as games, videos and presentations Then I allocate tasks or roles to the student 2) Self Student researches and prepares for their given roles or tasks 3) Peer Bring together and present the different roles and tasks and work and practice in class and outside of class (homework) Get Feedback from peers
