About Amit
I am currently at Curtin studying for a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Science (Psychology).
I believe that education is the key to an ideal society. My dream is to live in a world where everyone has the gift of a quality education.
I can provide tutoring for various subjects up to year 10. I can tutor any core subject up to the Standard stream and can tutor science and English up to the Extended stream.
For years 11 and 12, I can provide tutoring in English ATAR, Religion and Life ATAR, and Mathematics Applications ATAR.
I enjoy creative writing. My short stories, essays, and poetry are available on my website.
I was lucky to be the Youth Member for Thornlie in the 29th Y WA Youth Parliament, where I advocated for the interests of Western Australian youth in the Thornlie electorate. Sitting on the Education & Training Committee, I helped draft the Equality in Education Bill 2024, which passed the Youth Parliament. All Youth Parliament bills are sent to the Premier for consideration, as YP is the senior-most youth advisory body to the State Government.
I strive to be encouraging and holistic in my approach to tutoring, recognising that learning is not limited to academic achievement. My goal is to help students thrive academically and beyond.
My tutoring philosophy is "Learning for learning's sake." Education is an end in itself, and a curious mind is an unending reservoir of joy, excitement, and knowledge.

Sliding scale fee structures are available for lower-income families. Sibling rates are offered. Purchase lessons in bulk for a discounted per-session rate.
